Join us for our Quarterly Shamanic Drum Journey Workshop. We will introduce you to the Powerful technique of Journeying using a steady drum beat. This method has been used for Centuries to carry journeyers thru the Veil between the Worlds. Come learn how to exercise this method to gain access to the teachings your Highest Self already knows.

You are encouraged to bring a notebook or journal to record your journey experience. We’ll be lying down to journey, so dress comfortably & feel free to bring a pareo/sarong, yoga mat or throw blanket to lie on. We also highly recommend an eye-mask or scarf to help you focus within. ~And how about bringing a friend to share the journey?!

Lentil Soup will be provided after the Workshop & you are invited to stay for our monthly Drum Journey Circle directly following . . .

Connect with the sacred sounds of Wai’oma’o stream, wrapping gently around our VibeTribe oasis. In this rain-drenched winter season, we will take some time to engage with the water around us and listen to its wisdom. Through co-creative art experiences , we will seek reflections of the truth and beauty within and deepen our relationship with nature. Together we will make soundscape drawings and floating mandalas, then move through a meditation, before syncing into the sounds of the gong.

Our guest presenter is Mira Alexandrea Newell, an Experiential Psychotherapist with a background in clinical and community work in the U.S., Nicaragua, and Croatia. She specializes in Eco-Art Therapy: utilizing creativity in connection with nature to foster healing and growth. She, herself, is a walking miracle. A series of miraculous occurrences combined to save her from a too-early trip to heaven, & she bravely returned to us after talking with her family members already there. Doctors then said she might never walk again & yet, she dances! Here is how she expresses her healing practice vision:

We are so honored to be invited for this sunrise ceremony by our beloved Kahu Glen Kila and his protege’, Kumu Christophor Oliveira, the lineage spiritual leaders of Kanenuiakea (~the indigenous, life-affirming spirituality of Hawai’i nei for over 2000 years). My heart is bursting at the thought of visiting the sacred ‘aina of Makua at this sacred time of sunrise on the winter solstice.

We will meet at 5:30 am on the 21st of Dec in the parking lot across from Kaneana Cave. From there we’ll go to Kulailai to hiuwai ~bathe in the ocean, for purification before the ceremony. (So you’ll need swim clothes and towel, as well as your change of dry clothes.)

The sacred valley of Makua is under the control of the US military, and only a limited number of people will be allowed in. We need to submit the list of names ahead of time to the military, so please let us know your full name. (You’ll need to bring your photo ID to enter Makua Valley.)

Joining this ceremony & visiting the sacred sites is a huge, amazing gift we are receiving!! I, Ka’imi, encourage each of you to consider showing your gratitude to Kahu Glen & Kumu Chris in some way. Some of you have already done so via getting your “donation tickets” (on the Yapsody ticketing website), mahalo nui loa! I will be giving all that money as a donation to their non-profit cultural learning center, Koa Ika on Saturday morning. If you didn’t yet & want to donate online (since you can use Paypal or your credit card!), this will help my morning go more smoothly on Saturday. You can also bring your donation – in cash – to me Sat morning to add to the gift I will present to them that day. Kahu Glan & Kumu Chris are precious treasures of our islands, yet rarely heard, and so needed at this time of consciousness shift on Planet Earth. They teach aloha ‘āina (love of the land, environment), aloha ‘ohana (family, people), aloha keiki (children, future generations), malāma (caring for others, including plants and all living and nonliving beings), and about Ka’ananiau, an understanding of caring for the community’s natural resources.

The Winter Solstice is the re-birth of the light and the true turning of the year. We will gather on December 20th, the longest night of the year, and prepare to greet the dawn of the new light. Come be with us at this auspicious time. ~Newsflash!: WayneBow Medicne Bear will be filling in for David Heiss, who was called away. Quoting David, “We all have an inner light a lot like the sun, ready to ignite. Just be who you are, lie down, close your eyes, and let your inner light shine on this darkest night of the year. The vibrational frequencies of the divine come through the gong and are heard and felt in every cell of our bodies. It helps us wake up the core of who we are.”

Do you love karaoke & dream of singing your favorite tunes with all your friends and looking for a more fulfilling & supportive environment to share your love of music with than the local pub down the street?

Then come join us at the Vibe Tribe Community Sanctuary on Friday, Oct. 25th for the launch of our Conscious Karaoke & Cacao Ceremony night! Hosted by the lovely Anna Noel, we’ll start the evening by offering some sacred Cacao to everyone, followed by a group song & chant to warm up our vocal chords together & get connected. Cacao & music, especially together, are both amazing tools for opening up the heart, connecting, & “syncing up” with each other’s frequencies. Then we’ll start the Karaoke for the rest of the evening! Come & sing your heart out with us in a fun, safe, & supportive environment where everyone gets heard!
