Or another way to think of it: From the Tennis courts on Kalakaua, walk into the big field and you will find us. Check the map in the “discussion” section for a visual.
Ecstatic Dance is an opportunity to move authentically, exactly as your body feels called! Anything goes in Ecstatic Dance!
This is all about getting great exercise, freeing your mind and body, and connecting with yourself and with your community.
We dance fearlessly and create a judgement free zone where we can play, leap, roll twerk and move freely – which gives you permission to do the same…
Our focus is to create a community space for healthy living and a safe environment of RESPECT where you can be yourself in a dynamic group setting.
We will begin with an opening circle to get the energy flowing and connect as a community. From here we will enter into the journey of the dance! The music is a wave. It starts slow, rises in intensity, and then softens into a sound healing session. You are encouraged to jump on the wave, keep moving, and enjoy the journey.
